Educated?

Unfair? (2:15) A WI ISO member employee doesn't want to be told how the work should be done, at what time he needs to show up, or even to listen...

It's a Spending Problem...

...not a revenue problem. Hear Paul Ryan explain the looming before and after picture.

Not Democracy

Blaze Exclusive: International Anarchists, Socialists and Marxists (Not Average Union Workers) Have a Substance-Fueled Rave While Taking Over Wisconsin State Capitol

Role Models?

P.S. This WTF moment should really be aimed at BO's Winning The Future ideas.

HT OZPatriots&SarahP

Speech-es vs Strategy

Musl*m bros for Shar*a Law and a Cal*phate - BO considers "touchy- feely speeches as a substitute for having a [foreign] strategy" ... most revolutions lead to periods of internal turmoil...terror... external aggression..."

Education?

One more reason we can celebrate the passing of Walker's budget and proof that it's long overdue and still short of what's needed.

The term "useful idiots" comes to mind...
Thx to MacIver Institute for getting this on record.

Deficit =

Our govt's take in taxes, custom duties, etc. for the year minus that year's spending (generally the govt doesn't include interest payments as part of the year's expenses). We now overspend by $1.5 Trillion each year!  THAT gets added to debt and a new deficit builds up again the next year.

Real Stewards

"According to the IRS's own figures, it cost taxpayers 6.1 Billion hours to comply with the tax code ... a staggering amount of money ... not available for consumption, business investment, or job creation."

Ryan's Response

“...the pursuit of happiness” depends upon individual liberty; and
individual liberty requires limited government..."

E.g., Intelletual Liberal

Bill Maher is heralded as "smart and clever with an edge."

Watch this video to disabuse yourself of the notion that there is such a liberal...

A Conversation with ... Rep Paul Ryan from Economics 21 on Vimeo.

"...do not drain people's incentives to make the most of their lives..." Agreed!
A great listen! at 21:35--"Why might we be able to change Medicare (the greatest cause of our debt problems) and survive politically? "...because the Baby Boomers start retiring this year; we're going from approximately 40 million retirees now to approximately 80 million retirees...we're increasing the benefit consuming generation by 100%, but we're only increasing the tax-paying generation by about 17% that pay into these programs..."

Citizens?

Are you prepared to be a constructive, self-reliant citizen in a free society? What does that take?

Will we be made perfect through the government?

...jarring images of what US society has unfortunately devolved to. As the narrator says: "This is what a dumbed-down, morally bankrupt, completely broken society looks like, and this is how it behaves. No outrage over the bankers raping them, no outrage over their gutted industry, no outrage over their plundered dollar. Just blind, wanton stupidity. Just bread and circuses." HT ZeroHedge

A Deeper Look at Why QE is Bad

QE? PU.

The Fed wants a little inflation. Hmmm. Are gasoline, detergent, water, etc. higher than 1yr ago? "A survey [shows] a 0.6% price increase in just the last 2 months....prices would be close to 4% higher a year from now, double the Fed’s mandate."
As Glenn says, "Information is the best weapon available - food prices will be going up; the dollar is being intentionally collapsed; you will understand that in unbelievable clarity by the end of the week."
Please consider finding Glenn Beck's 11/9-12 shows. A master teacher, Glenn gives us food for thought (and action). He always encourages viewers to do follow-up research to confirm, prove him wrong, and expand upon what he shows us on TV.

Marxist insurgency

A Green Beret describes our path of:

-Nationalism
-Redistribution
-Discrediting of opposition
-Hate legislation
-Gun control
-Nat'l civilian force

U.S. 4 Good

No time? Start in 7:28 min.
Dennis Prager wraps up why our future is at stake.  He asks and answers: "Are we exceptional?" "Do you think the UN [or U.S.] is the greater force for good in the world?"
There is a difference.
You gotta VOTE!
"1.4% of the GDP growth of 2% was inventories."10/10

Why a Loan?

No time? Start in 4:44 min.
Did you know if a sm business has $100 in bank and a $500K inventory at end of yr 1 and $100 in bank and a $1M inventory at end of yr 2; Feds tax the $500K increase as income! A loan is necessary to pay the $200K tax! Discuss.

Going lower...

"Gaps up are NOT a sign of a healthy robust market; they are sign of "behind the scenes" manipulation...when market volume is low."

Conservative Candy

A montage of great bites ...

What's your choice?

Choice 1: Taking an axe to Federal spending?
Choice 2: Continuing with Obama's "scalpel"?
Even McCain said he'd have used a hatchet!

How a bill becomes law

Electing a US President

The electoral college explained in plain English. The number of electors/state is changing due to people migrating to lower tax/regulatory states.

It's the SPENDING, Stupid!

Story of Stuff (shown in schools)

These videos build in the critique of this Soros-funded propaganda that gets shown in our schools.
Click above for a lesson in citizenship and below for one on Crony Capitalism (hint: NOT free market capitalism).

Teacher unions exposed

NJ Gov. Christie can explain teacher unions and contract negotiations in plain language everyone can understand. -- What we have here, is a failure to negotiate.

Fiscal child abuse

Making the unapologetic case for SMALL, limited, only as big as it needs-to-be government! Read the blog, too.

Who pays?

Scott Walker sets the example. Steve Forbes uses Milwaukee to describe A Case Study in Teacher Bailouts -- MKE shows that unions will keep resisting concessions if WA DC rides to the rescue.

Right Network

Haven't figured out how to maneuver around Right Network yet, but loved this musical tribute to those serving to protect our freedom.

Right Network should be an interesting place to visit!

NFRW Pres. Sue Lynch (from WI)

Sue stays positive and optimistic about November without snarky, mean sound bites used by the SC DEM spokesperson.

Anything but
transparent

How can we make sound decisions about education when we don't know the true cost? We compare the final cost of other products and decide how to best spend our $$$, but not with education -- hear why.

Agendas vs. Rule of Law

A reputable East Coast graduate defends our Nation and servicemen against an agenda-driven nominee who embodies the now-stereotype of an East Coast elitist.
