Excerpts of speech: "The budget passed less than eight months ago, in June of last year, contained all of the same worn out tricks of the trade that have become common place in Trenton, that have driven our citizens to anger and frustration and our wonderful state to the edge of bankruptcy....Our [state] Constitution requires a balanced budget...Our love for our children requires that we do not shove today’s problems under the rug only to be discovered again tomorrow ...The special interests have already begun to scream their favorite word, which, coincidentally, is my nine year old son’s favorite word when we are making him do something he knows is right but does not want to do—“unfair.” ...One state retiree, 49 years old, paid, over the course of his entire career, a total of $124,000 towards his retirement pension and health benefits. What will we pay him? $3.3 million in pension payments over his life and nearly $500,000 for health care benefits -- a total of $3.8m on a $120,000 investment. Is that fair? ... A retired teacher paid $62,000 towards her pension and nothing, yes nothing, for full family medical, dental and vision coverage over her entire career. What will we pay her? $1.4 million in pension benefits and another $215,000 in health care benefit premiums over her lifetime. Is it “fair” for all of us and our children to have to pay for this excess. ...I will use my executive authority to implement [budget cuts] now, because I must...I am not happy, but I am not afraid to make these decisions, either. Two videos worth watching as these two discuss the radicals in the 60's and the resulting consequences of having them in power today. Some of what's said: Four people [in 2004], George Soros, Peter Lewis (head of Progressive Insurance Co out of Cleveland ), Stephen Bing in LA (a sometime Hollywood producer who inherited $), and Sandlers out of San Fran...gave $75 million dollars to a 527 called ACT (formed with SEIU). The four also raised almost $200 million dollars and pooled their money. They formed the Democracy Alliance (including Bill Moyers) to move the "cause": They believe they are marginalized and disenfranchised by the development of conservative think tanks. They started the Secretary of State project to elect Dems to these positions. They've gotten 7 Sec of State's associated with ACORN into power. Guess what? The Sec of State supervises the counting of ballots...

Situation: Philadelphia is 55% minority, yet the Convention Center / stadium has fewer than 10% minorities working to earn the Fed funds. Union workers are coming in from outside the city (and its tax base) to work those jobs (carpetbagging). "...It's one way to go after these unions, because they discriminate, and you cannot discriminate with Federal Money. That's where we get 'em." (Third video) Let's see if I get this right...Gov't borrows HUGELY (ostensibly to buy bad debts provided cheaply to risky borrowers as encouraged by gov't; no matter the borrowers couldn't afford the risk of rising ARMs); Not able to afford what IT borrows, our Gov't (now owning bad debt and really an unqualified borrower) begs other countries to lend us money; the Fed lowers interest rates to protect the gov't to keep interest payable in check--encouraged, Gov't increases "spending on money borrowed that the Fed is providing"; banks and hedge funds jump in to borrow at zero percent and, rather than lending it to US citizens and companies, try to get a better return overseas (a carrytrade), which does nothing for our economy. In the end, the Fed will have to raise interest rates to eliminate the free money. The asset bubble will "flameout" as soon as anyone suspects interest rates might go up (and the Gov't who is now an invested player in competition with private investors will be the first to get out). Other countries probably won't think we're too big to fail and won't bail us out; they are investing their money now in GOLD, not us.

Roughly: Demoralize a nation (it takes 15-20 years in school to pound a generation into respecting Marxism and despising Capitalism -- facts mean nothing); Destabilize a nation's defense and economy (2-5 years); Exploit a crisis (6 weeks+); Normalize big brother's info and stats (the new normal). Star Parker describes it, too: "Take the recent incident of the young woman in Bryan, Texas -- the director of the Planned Parenthood abortion mill down there -- who had a change of heart and quit her job when she saw, for the first time, an unborn child on an ultrasound screen ... As Abby Johnson related her story to Bill O'Reilly, '....what I saw on the screen was a 13-week baby fighting for its life...' She [essentially] walked out the door, went down the road and joined a local pro-life organization..."

Free market power means providing a good that people are able and willing to buy ... and failing if you don't.

Obama appointee Anita Dunn reveres Mao Tse Tung. (He was a community organizer in 1920's to war monger to 1950s mastermind of a Cultural Revolution that created shortages killing 14-20 million men, women, and children). Dunn extols Mao's virtures to high school students. [P.S. Do you do your homework and know to whom and to what your school exposes and teaches your children?] After you see the video, read Mark Steyn's wonderful critique: "...All those dead Chinese are no-name peasants a long way away. What’s the big deal? If you say, “Chairman Mao? Wasn’t he the wacko who offed 70 million Chinks?”, you’ll be hounded from public life for saying the word “Chinks.” But, if you commend the murderer of those 70 million as a role model in almost any school room in the country from kindergarten to the Ivy League, it’s so entirely routine that only a crazy like Glenn Beck would be boorish enough to point it out."

Businesses (in free markets) create jobs; government takes money, absorbs, wastes, and redistributes what's left to curry favor and obligation.
